Bloomsday: Dalkey Schoolroom Scene & Guided Walk

We are fortunate in Dalkey that James Joyce set Episode Two of Ulysses in a schoolroom on Dalkey Avenue.
June 16th, Bloomsday, at 15.30pm in Dalkey Castle, that scene will be dramatised by professional actors. A Guided Walk led by a Joycean expert will follow.
A special treat will be a stop at the school location where Joyce taught for a time, “on his wise shoulders through the checkerwork of leaves the sun flung spangles, dancing coins”.
