The Ennino Morriconi Experience

21st Februaryat 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm

“The Morricone Experience” is a tribute to the late maestro of film music who wrote over 400 film compositions in his lifetime, including the scores for audience favourites “The Mission”, “Cinema Paradiso”, “A Fistful of Dollars”, “The Good the Bad and the Ugly and more.”

The ensemble comprises acclaimed solo international artists residing in Ireland. These include Dundalk locals Annemarie McGahon (viola), Francesca De Nardi (violin), Davide Forti (cello) and Annalisa Monticelli (piano) and Dubliners Katy Kelly (soprano) and Morgan Crowley (tenor). Tickets are selling fast for their tour.

“We are honored to share the music of the maestro and we look forward to sharing some of his lesser-known gems that will make you want to revisit his movies.” Annalisa Monticelli, Pianist.

“Morricone has written some amazing vocal compositions, and it’s really exciting to share the versatility of the music he has written for voice with you all.” Katy Kelly, Soprano.

“As an Italian musician, I’m very proud of showcasing one of the most prolific film composers we’ve ever had in Italy. It’s a real privilege to have the chance to give voice to Morricone’s tunes, they never stop moving us!” Davide Forti, Cello.

“I had a wonderful night at the Ennio Morricone experience. It really was a treat to see the Maestro’s work being so lovingly and skilfully performed by these fantastic musicians. This is a show not only for the most dedicated fans, but also for those who are new to Mr. Morricone’s magical repertoire. Go see it!” Conor O’Brien, Villagers.
