SUMMARY:I AM HERE: A Musical Collaboration with The Phoenix Park
DESCRIPTION:I Am Here gives voice to nature\, asking us to return to her bosom\, to reconnect\, to remember the joy we feel together. It was born from an urgent need to reconnect with the nature around us and within us. Inspired by her runs in the Phoenix Park throughout Covid\, witnessing the changing seasons more than ever\, the project’s creator\, Jennifer McMahon wondered- what might nature sound like? How might we collaborate through presence\, witnessing and experiencing without taking- a process she noticed is not the norm in our global interactions with the nature around us. \nIn a world where extraction and depletion is causing a deep rupture between human and earth\, the need to reconnect has never seemed more necessary. It is Jennifer’s belief\, as it was with humans long before us\, that for our survival on this planet\, we must live interdependently- not as master and slave\, not as exploiters and exploited. We must\, urgently\, remember the relationship between the nature around us and that which is within us. Perhaps what is going on in the world is a deep reflection of our own disconnection\, or is it the opposite way around? \nThe project has become an 8 piece song cycle and music trail. Map coordinates\, found sounds\, historical stories from each ‘stop’ on the map inform the corresponding musical piece. \nThe music trail at The Phoenix Park unfolds as follows…. \nLocation #1 : The Bandstand -INVITATION \nLocation #2: The Playground- PLAY \nLocation #3: The Magazine Fort- EXPLORE \nLocation #4: Knockmaree Dolmen- PRESENT \nLocation #5: The Furry Glenn- WISDOM \nLocation #6: Sunken Garden- THERE’S A REASON \nLocation #7: Castleknock Gate- HOME \nLocation #8: Phoenix Monument- ALL ROADS LEAD HERE \nJoin us for the first complete live performance of the music trail as it is recorded for online access and use in realtime at the locations in The Phoenix Park. Come as you are and let’s walk the sonic path together at The Cobblestone on July 12th. \nJennifer McMahon\, vocals and live electronics \nCormac Kenny\, piano and keys \nEoin O’ Halloran\, bass and effects \nHugh Denman\, drums and percussion \nwith special guest: the sounds of The Phoenix Park \nThis is an afternoon show. Families are welcome. Please arrive on time! Run time is expected to be 60- 70 minutes. Doors at 3pm\, music from 3.30pm. \nCreated with thanks to the Improvised Music Centre’s Incubator Pilot Project and it’s creative champions.

SUMMARY:Dream Point: Alice's Wonderland
DESCRIPTION:DUBLIN EVENT NEWS \nDREAM POINT INVITES DUBLIN TO STEP THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS WITH NEW ‘ALICE’S WONDERLAND’ IMMERSIVE VENUE TAKEOVER \n \nThe Hit Multi-Room Playground Reimagines Lewis Carroll’s Classic with AI Visuals\, 360° Projections\, and a Surreal ‘Mad Tea Party’ Installation \n*Link to hi-res imagery here. \nDublin\, Ireland\, March 4th 2026: Today\, Dream Point is thrilled to announce a full venue takeover inspired by Alice in Wonderland\, a project the Dublin team has been quietly working on behind the scenes for months. The €3 million “world of dreams” that opened in Dublin’s Docklands last April\, will transform into Alice’s Wonderland\, its most ambitious immersive takeover to date\, launching on 23rd March 2026. With early bird tickets officially on sale from today. \nTransforming the 21\,000 sq ft venue into a surreal universe where fantasy and technology collide\, the new venue takeover invites visitors of all ages to step inside a bold reimagining of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. \n“We are incredibly proud to be bringing this exclusive Irish premiere to Dublin\, arriving direct from Germany after months of careful planning and collaboration\,” said Dream Point co-founder Dan Gleeson. “Alice’s Wonderland blends cutting-edge digital art\, AI-generated visuals and original scenography to create something that feels truly transportive. From the moment you step inside\, the world begins to shift\, time bends\, space transforms and the familiar becomes wonderfully strange.” \n“For us\, this is about more than technology. It’s about creating a shared experience where families\, friends and curious minds of all ages can step away from the everyday and lose themselves in a story they thought they already knew\, only to rediscover it in a completely new and unexpected way.” \nInside the Rabbit Hole: The Experience\nThe centerpiece of the launch is a brand-new 20-minute immersive show in the venue’s high-end Projection Room. Using 360° floor-to-ceiling projection and cinematic soundscapes\, the show transforms the venue’s architecture into a dynamic storytelling surface\, taking guests on a dreamlike journey through a contemporary\, artistic Wonderland. \nBeyond the main show\, Dream Point’s signature rooms have been given a “Wonderland” makeover: \n\n\nThe Balloon Room – Cheshire Cat Installation: The fan-favorite glowing chamber will now feature a mysterious Cheshire Cat face created with UV lighting effects that appear and fade\, mirroring the character’s iconic disappearing act. \n\n\nThe Mad Tea Table (Draw Alive Room): Guests can take a seat at a custom-built\, interactive round table where projection mapping simulates the whimsical illusions of a Mad Tea Party. \n\n\nThe Falling Tree (Inflatable Forest): A large-scale projection of a falling tree symbolises the moment Alice enters Wonderland\, creating a “gateway” between reality and fantasy. \n\n\nAlice’s Mushrooms: Ireland’s largest ball pit remains a highlight of the overall Dream Point experience\, forming part of a whimsical\, highly photogenic fantasy landscape\, with oversized inflatable mushrooms now appearing throughout the wider Wonderland takeover. \n\n\n“With Alice’s Wonderland\, we aren’t just telling a story; we’re inviting you to become part of it\,” says John Gleeson\, brother of Dan Gleeson and fellow Co-Founder of Dream Point. “We’ve taken a successful concept from Kunstkraftwerk\, Germany\, and expanded it with our own original scenography to create something truly unique for Dublin. Whether you’re a family seeking a magical day out or a content creator looking for that perfect surreal shot\, this experience is designed to captivate everyone”. \n“As owners\, Dan and I have always believed that if we want Dream Point to offer something truly special\, we need to go out and find it ourselves. We spend a huge amount of time travelling\, researching and experiencing the best immersive and interactive productions around the world\, not as tourists\, but with a critical eye\, asking what would genuinely excite an Irish audience and what feels truly world-class.” \n“When we experienced Alice’s Wonderland\, we knew it was exactly the calibre of show we want to champion at Dream Point. It’s bold\, innovative and completely transportive. We’re proud to be giving Irish audiences access to something they otherwise might have missed.” \nTickets and Visitor Information\nAlice’s Wonderland is designed for all ages\, from families and school groups to art enthusiasts and those seeking a standout date night. \n\n\nLaunch Date: Monday\, March 23rd\, 2026. \n\n\nLocation: Dream Point\, Point Square\, Dublin Docklands. \n\n\nEarly Bird Tickets: Available now on the Dream Point website: www.dreampointexperience.ie. \n\n\nSocials: Follow the journey @dreampointexperience. \n\n\nA curated range of character-inspired merchandise and themed souvenirs will also be available at the venue. \nENDS \nFor All Press Enquiries\, Contact: \nRob Kenny: Managing Director\, Rob Kenny PR: rob@robkennypr.ie \nLucia Gavin: Senior Account Executive\, Rob Kenny PR: lucia@robkennypr.ie \nBilly Bunzari: Account Executive\, Rob Kenny PR: billy@robkennypr.ie
