
Met Eireann have issued two separate weather warnings for snow and low temperatures for the country, effective from tonight.
A low temperature and ice warning will come into effect from 8pm tonight for the whole of Ireland, as temperatures are set to plummet to -4 degrees.
From 11pm, a yellow snow and ice warning will be in effect, with Met Eireann warning that this could lead to treacherous conditions on the roads. They also warn that some accumulations could occur in certain areas.
Both warnings will be in effect until Thursday morning, at 11am.

Very cold with minima widely falling to -3 or -4 degrees Celsius.
