Ukulele Hooley in Dun Laoghaire to host 2000 ukulele players

Get ready for a weekend of music, fun and community spirit as the Ukulele Hooley returns to Dún Laoghaire for its 15th year on 22-23 August.

Europe’s longest-running ukulele festival will bring together around 2,000 ukulele players from Ireland and across the globe for the much-anticipated Big Jam in the People’s Park.

The main concert event kicks off in the People’s Park, Dun Laoghaire on Sunday 23 August at 11:30am. We have an amazing lineup of ukulele artists local and international, both new faces to the festival, and some old friends joining us for what promises to be a memorable experience. All times are approximate.

The Ukulele Hooley Big Jam with this year’s theme of weather related songs will take place during the afternoon.

The Sunday concert comes to an end with the Hooley Raffle final results and the Finale Closing Performance.
